McDonnell Named SCAC Offensive Player of the Week

mcdonnell_addie_2009fhweb.jpgSeptember 13, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. —  DePauw sophomore forward Addie McDonnell has been selected as the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week for her performances last weekend.

McDonnell contributed to the Tigers' wins over Transylvania (7-0) and Wooster (1-0). In Saturday's win over Transylvania, she scored just 5:24 into the match and added her second goal of the game midway through the second half.

In Sunday's win, she helped set up the Tigers' second half goal. DePauw is 5-0 for the first time since 1999 as the Tigers have opened the season with five shutouts for the first time in school history.
