Koors and Lambert Named SCAC Players of the Week

September 30, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. — DePauw seniors Alex Koors and Jonathan Lambert have been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Offensive and Defensive Football Player of the Week, respectively, for their performances in the Tigers' 35-7 win over Sewanee.
Koors (left) became DePauw's all-time receiving yardage leader breaking the mark of 2,913 held by Dan Ryan (1999-2002) by catching six passes for 157 yards and three touchdowns. He also tied the DePauw single-game record with his three receiving touchdowns.
Koors also moved into second place on the SCAC’s career receiving yardage list and is just 220 yards from setting the conference mark.
Lambert (right) tallied 13 tackles including seven solos in the win over visiting Sewanee.
The 3-0 Tigers return to action on Saturday at Millsaps when they face the 2-2 Majors. Both teams enter the game with 2-0 SCAC marks. The game can be heard live on WGRE (91.5 FM).
