Smith Named SCAC Volleyball Player of the Week

85751September 30, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. —  DePauw senior setter Ali Smith has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week for her performances in DePauw's matches last Saturday and Sunday.

Smith averaged 10.64 assists per set while tallying 149 total assists. She also totaled 30 digs (2.14/set) and eight blocks. She registered 52 assists against seventh-ranked Colorado College (10.4/set), 50 assists against 20th-ranked Austin College (12.5) and 47 assists against Trinity (9.4).

The 10-8 Tigers take a 3-1 record into Saturday and Sunday matches at Birmingham-Southern.
