Third-ranked DePauw Women Tied for Seventh at Charleston Southern Invitational

October 18, 2010, Charleston, S.C. —  DePauw shot an opening-round 323 and is tied for seventh after the first of two rounds of the Charleston Southern Wendy's Invitational. Bucknell leads the primarily Division I field with a 304. 

Kelly Gaughan paced the third-ranked Tigers with a 79 which is tied for 18th, while Taylor Beaty and Camila Romero each shot a 79 to tie for 34th. Paige Gooch finished the round with an 82 and Natalie Gough shot an 85.

Appalachian State's Rumbidzai Masamvu and Radford's Hannah Coles each shot a 72 and lead the field.

Play at the Coosaw Creek Country Club concludes on Tuesday.
