Koors Named SCAC Offensive Player of the Week

October 26, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. —  DePauw senior wide receiver Alex Koors has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in the Tigers' 32-31 win at Trinity.

He caught 10 passes for 170 yards including three touchdown receptions. The three touchdown receptions tied a school record and marked the third time he's accomplished the feat.

Koors also became the DePauw and SCAC career receptions leader with his second catch of the day and caught the final DePauw touchdown of the day before quarterback Michael Engle completed a two-point conversion to seal the comeback win.

The performance marked Koors' 14th career 100-yard receiving game of his career. This is his third such honor of the season and fifth of his career.
