Women's Golfers Move to Number Two in National Poll

October 28, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. — The DePauw women's golf team moved up one spot to second in the third Golf World/National Golf Coaches Association Division III Coaches' Poll of the fall. Methodist, 13-time defending Division III champions, retained its top spot in the rankings. The complete poll is available here.
DePauw wrapped up the fall portion of its schedule with a fifth-place showing at the Division I Charleston Southern Wendy's Invitational where the Tigers also finished 27 strokes ahead of Methodist.
The Tigers won three tournaments this fall including the Anderson Invitational, the DePauw Small College Classic and the Wittenberg Invitational.
DePauw teams have appeared in nine straight NCAA Division III tournaments with seven top-four finishes. The Tigers open the spring season on March 21-22 at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington Lady Seahawk Classic.
