Lauer Improves Upon Provisional Qualifying Pentathlon Score

March 4, 2011, Whitewater, Wis. — Courtney Lauer totaled 3,361 points and won the pentathlon at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater's Multi-Event Last Chance Meet.
Lauer won the high jump at 1.55 meters (5-1) and the 800 meters in 2:23.47. She was second in the long jump at 5.21 meters (17-1.25), third in the shot put at 10.72 meters (35-2) and eighth in the 55-meter hurdles in 9.30 seconds.
Lauer's point total currently ranks third which should be good enough to qualify for next weekend's NCAA Division III Championships at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio,
