#15 DePauw Finishes Seventh at ITA National Indoor Championship

March 6, 2011, St. Peter, Minn. —  After taking two of three doubles matches, the 15th-ranked Tigers split the six singles matches and defeated 13th-ranked Chapman by a 5-4 score in the seventh-place match at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division III National Indoor Championship.

Janelle Arita and Kelly Gebert teamed for an 8-6 win over Kelley Fox and Liz Lewis at number-one doubles, while Meg Crowley and Elizabeth Young topped Candace Schooler and Cassady Sirois at third doubles, 8-6.

Gebert defeated Fox at two singles 6-0, 6-2 as did Tricia Wilks at number-three singles over Scholler 6-3, 6-1. Crowley beat Kelley Klebenow 6-3, 6-1 at the fourth slot.

DePauw hosts Ferris State on Thursday, March 10 at 4:30 p.m.
