#18 Men's Tennis Drops 5-4 Decision to Division II Bulldogs

March 10, 2011, Greencastle, Ind. —  The 18th-ranked Tigers dropped to 6-1 on the season following a 5-4 loss to Division II Ferris State. The Bulldogs improved to 3-2.

The Tigers picked up a point with a win at number-three doubles as Garrett Nickell and Steven Pjevach defeated Justin Hermes and Otto Keresztes 8-6.

In singles play, DePauw's Michael Rardon topped Kyle Revall at the first slot by a 6-2, 6-2 score as did Sam Miles in second singles over Jack Swan 6-0, 6-1. Noah Swiler was the Tigers' other singles winner as he defeated Steven Roberts 6-3, 7-6 (7-4). The Tigers dropped matches at fifth and sixth singles despite winning the opening set in both.

DePauw hosts Indiana Tech on Sunday, March 13, at 8:30 a.m. and Rose-Hulman at 4:30 p.m.
