Kosinski Named SCAC Softball Player of the Week

March 23, 2011, Greencastle, Ind. — DePauw junior third baseman Jen Kosinski has been selected the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Softball Offensive Player of the Week for her performances in six games against Manchester and Rhodes.
Kosinski helped the Tigers to a 5-1 record including three conference wins over Rhodes. She batted .650 on the week (13-for-20) with nine runs and 16 RBI with a 1.150 slugging percentage.
Kosinski hit four doubles and two home runs with a .696 on-base percentage and hit safely in all six games. She drove in at least one run in all six contests. In the four-game conference series against Rhodes, Kosinski went 9-for-16 with 13 RBI including a 4-for-4 performance with five RBI in Sunday’s first contest.
The 9-2 and eighth-ranked Tigers return to action on Thursday with a 2:30 p.m. doubleheader at top-ranked Emory. Thursday's game at Emory can be viewed live with live stats also available.
