Lauer Named SCAC Women's Track Athlete of the Week

93340April 5, 2011, Greencastle, Ind. — DePauw senior Courtney Lauer was selected the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week after finishing second in the Washington University Heptathlon.

Lauer's total of 4,528 points ranks second in Division III and was the second-best of her career behind last year's 4,581 at the NCAA Championships.

She tallied marks of: 17.21 seconds in the 100-meter hurdles; 4-11 in the high jump, a personal best of 36-1.75 in the shot put, 27.14 seconds in the 200 meters, a personal  best of 17-3 in the long jump, 121-5.5 in the javelin and 2:22.71 in the 800 meters.
