Eight Tigers Earn All-SCAC Honors; Three Named to First Team

April 28, 2011, Greencastle, Ind. —  A total of eight DePauw student-athletes were named to the all-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Softball Team including three who earned first team honors. the voting was selected prior to the SCAC Championships by the conference's 10 head coaches.

Senior second baseman Emma Minx as well as junior third baseman Jen Kosinski and junior outfielder Rachel MacBeth were first team choices.

The second team included junior outfielder Cymone Allen and junior designated player Haley Buchanan, while sophomore pitcher Emily Bichler, sophomore catcher Amy Hallett and senior shortstop Brianne Weeks each earned honorable mention.
