Ross Named SCAC Pitcher of the Week

April 4, 2011, Greencastle, Ind. — DePauw junior pitcher Elliott Ross has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week for March 28 through April 3.
Ross tossed a two-hit complete game shutout in leading the Tigers to a 9-0 win over Oglethorpe. Striking out 13 in nine innings, Ross retired the first 23 batters he faced and walked just one batter.
Earlier in the week Ross pitched two scoreless relief innings against Franklin with two strikeouts. For the week he didn't allow a run in 11 innings and struck out 15.
