September 18, 2011, Meadville, Pa. — DePauw shot an opening-round 312 and is in eighth place at the Guy W. Kuhn Invitational at the Country Club of Meadville. Wittenberg leads with a 295 and Rochester is second at 304.

Ryan Berra is tied for 14th at 76, while Graham Singer and Eric Tandy are each tied for 22nd with a 77. Charlie  Castino is tied for 57th at 82 and Brandon Bekkering is tied for 63rd at 83. Playing as an individual, Spencer Strup is tied for 63rd with an 83. Wittenberg's Jack Uecker leads the field with a 70.
