Casey Hooker Named NCAC Swimmer of the Week

79705October 30, 2011, Greencastle, Ind. — After helping his team to a season-opening win at Washington University, DePauw freshman Casey Hooker was named the North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week.

Swimming his first collegiate event, Hooker set a pool and school record in the 1000 freestyle in a time of 9:39.39. He also took first in the 500 free in 4:42.97 and was part of the first-place 400 free relay.

DePauw travels to Wittenberg on Saturday, November 5, for a 1 p.m. meet.
