DePauw Hosts Playoff-Bound Albion in Saturday Football Clash

102019November 4, 2011, Greencastle, Ind. — DePauw returns to Blackstock Stadium for its second home game of the season and first since October 1 when it hosts Albion College on Saturday, November 5. Kickoff from Blackstock Stadium in Greencastle is set for 1 p.m.

DePauw is 3-4 on the season and has won two straight after last week’s 21-17 victory at Austin. The Tigers opened the season with a win at Rose-Hulman before dropping four straight.

Albion enters the contest with a 5-3 record and has already clinched a share of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association title. The Britons have also earned the conference’s automatic qualification into the NCAA Division III Championship.

The all-time series is tied 14-14 with Albion winning the last meeting in 1997 by a 24-10 score in Greencastle. In games played at Blackstock Stadium, the Tigers hold a 10-6 advantage.

The game features two of the winningest programs in Division III history as Albion ranks in a tie for 10th with 576 wins in 125 seasons and DePauw is 17th with 542 victories in 124 campaigns.
