#16 Tigers Open Spring Season with Loss to #4 Maroons

Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw, ranked 16th in Division III, dropped its opening match of the spring season by an 8-1 score to fourth-ranked University of Chicago.

The Tigers picked up their lone win at number-three doubles as Julie Wittwer and Kaitlin Pickrel topped Kelsey McGillis and Megan Tang by an 8-6 score.

DePauw opens North Coast Athletic Conference play on Sunday, February 19, when it travels to Ohio Wesleyan for a Noon match.
