Kate Walker Earns Honorable Mention All-America

Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw senior guard Kate Walker (Indianapolis, Ind./Perry Meridian) has been named to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Division III Coaches' All-America Team as an honorable mention selection.

Walker has led DePauw to a 32-0 record and a spot in the NCAA Division III semifinals for the third time in school history.

The Tigers' third-leading scorer with 8.6 points per game, Walker leads DePauw with 3.8 assists per outing and ranks third in Division III with a 2.71 assist-to-turnover ratio. Walker has hit 44.1 percent of field goal tries including 57.9 percent from beyond the arc (22-38).

Walker earlier was named a second team selection to the D3hoops.com All-Great Lakes Region team and a first team all-North Coast Athletic Conference selection.

DePauw faces Williams College on Friday, March 15, in an NCAA Division III semifinal contest. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. at the DeVos Fieldhouse on the Hope College campus in Holland, Mich.
