Number-one Tigers win again

Perry Park, Ky. - The number-one ranked DePauw women's golf team turned in its second-best two round total in program history at 612 with rounds of 304 and 308 to win the Northern Kentucky Spring Invitational. Southern Indiana was just one stroke behind at 613 and Northern Kentucky was third at 617. The tournament title was DePauw's fifth of the year.

 

Individually, top-ranked Jessica Schneider tied for third with a 150, while Sarah Gates tied for seventh at 152. Lindsay Amore finished 14th with a 154, while Deborah Garriott tied for 18th with a 156 and Lisa Chambers tied for 31st at 159. Lauren Brummett, playing as an individual, shot a 156 and tied for 18th.

 

DePauw hosts Rose-Hulman on April 4.
