DePauw finishes sixth at Southern Indiana

Evansville, Ind. - The DePauw women's golf team finished sixth at the Screaming Eagle Golf Classic at the Helrich Hills Golf Club in Evansville. The Tigers shot a two-round 664 including a 322 in Sunday's first round. Northern Kentucky won the team title with a 628, while Surita Risseeuw of Rend Lake Community College took medalist honors with a 145.
Sarah Gates shot a first-round 75 and finished with a 159 total to place in a tie for ninth. Lindsay Amore and Ali Murtaugh each shot 166 to tie for 19th. Kristen Kriegshauser shot a 173 and Jill Schneider added a 182. Playing as an individual, Amanda Bollman shot a 184.
DePauw competes in the Manchester Invitational on Saturday, October 2, before hosting the DePauw Small College Classic at Deer Creek on October 3-4.
