Tigers drop 3-1 decision to Wooster

GREENCASTLE, Ind. - Visiting College of Wooster scored twice in the final 11 minutes to break a 1-1 deadlock and go on to defeat DePauw by a 3-1 score at McKeen Field.

 

Lindsay Tingley gave the Scots the lead with an unassisted goal with 12:27 remaining in the first half before DePauw's Emily Yates knotted the score with 28:52 remaining in the second half.

 

Wooster took the lead for good on Gina Crough's goal with 10:52 remaining on an assist from Anlyn Addis. Katelin Bugler added the final score with 8:55 left on another assist from Addis.

 

Wooster held a slim 13-12 edge in shots and DePauw led in corners, 9-4. Sara Shalowitz recorded five saves in goal for DePauw, while Beth Skelton had five for Wooster.

 

DePauw returns to action on Saturday, October 16, when it hosts Bellarmine.
