Sixth-ranked Tigers fall to fifth-ranked Trinity in SCAC title match

April 24, 2005, N. Little Rock, Ark. - The sixth-ranked DePauw women's tennis team dropped to 15-6 on the season after a 6-3 loss to fifth-ranked Trinity in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference championship match.
The Tigers fell behind 2-1 after doubles competition with the one win coming from Liz Bondi and Jill Anderson at the number one slot. Trinity then took four of the six singles matches for the win. Bondi improved to 28-2 overall and 17-1 in dual matches by defeating Jackie Mendillo 6-2, 6-3. Erin Andrade also won at number four over Megan Suarez by a 6-4, 6-4 score. Two of the Tigers' losses in singles came in three sets.
