Tigers drop pair to Anderson

March 4, 2007, Danville, Ky. - DePauw dropped to 0-4 on the season after dropping a doubleheader to Anderson in games played at Centre College. Anderson won the first game by an 8-0 score and the nightcap, 2-0, in eight innings.

Anderson pitchers Eric Smith and Evan McClain held DePauw to just four hits and banged out 13 themselves in the 8-0 win. The Ravens scored one in the second, two in the fourth, three in the fifth and two in the seventh for the win. Adam Ford suffered the loss and dropped to 0-1.

In the nightcap, the teams battled through seven scoreless innings before Anderson scored a pair of unearned runs in the eighth for the win. Chris Newman had the Tigers' lone hit and Jeremy Alland suffred the loss despite allowing just four hits and striking out seven with no walks.
