DePauw Drops Overtime Decision at Kenyon

August 31, 2007, Gambier, Ohio - DePauw forced overtime with a late goal, but host Kenyon won the game in the first overtime by a 2-1 score in the season opener for both teams.
Kenyon's Megan Connolly put the Ladies ahead 20 minutes into the contest on an assist from Lauren Keiling before the Tigers' Ashley Fehr knotted the contest with an unassisted goal with 2:12 left in regulation. Keiling ended the contest at just over nine minutes into the first overtime with an unassisted score.
DePauw held a 16-10 edge in shots and a 13-3 advantage in penalty corners. DePauw's Liz Attewell recorded five saves in goal, while Kenyon's Karen Thompson finished with 11.
The Tigers face DeSales on Saturday at 1 p.m.
