Tigers Finish Sixth at ITA Indoor National Championships

March 1, 2009, St. Peter, Minn. — The 12th-ranked Tigers finished sixth at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division III Indoor Championships after dropping a 7-2 decision to fifth-ranked Pomona-Pitzer.
Claiming wins for DePauw was the number two doubles team of Janelle Arita and Kelly Gebert who topped Paige Wolstencroft and Kasyn Stevenson by an 8-6 score. Gebert defeated Wolstencroft at number three singles 6-3, 2-6, 6-2.
DePauw returns to action on March 14 when it hosts California (Pa.) and Grand Valley State.
