Tigers Place Ninth at Southern Miss Invitational

March 24, 2009, Hattiesburg, Miss. — DePauw, ranked 10th in Division III, shot a two-round 655 and placed ninth at the Southern Miss Lady Eagle Invitational at the Canebrake Country Club. Southern Miss won with a 597, while Belmont's Lorie Warren was the medalist with a 143.
Nikki Garza and Erin Kielty each shot 163 for the Tigers to finish in a tie for 27th, while Taylor Beaty finished 33rd with a 164. Natalie Gough and Kelly Gaughan each shot 170 and tied for 44th. Playing as individuals, Annie Mail and Ali Rifkin shot 174 and 183, respectively.
The Tigers return to action on March 27-28 at the Northern Kentucky Invitational
