Sixth-ranked DePauw Wins Katman Klassic; Romero and Woodall Share Medalist Honors

April 11, 2010, Danville, Ind. — Sixth-ranked DePauw shot a second-round 313 for a two-round 638 and won the Katman Klassic at Twin Bridges Golf Club. Fourth-ranked Illinois Wesleyan was second at 640, while ninth-ranked Olivet was third at 644 and 23rd-ranked Franklin finished fourth with a 659.
DePauw's Camila Romero and Illinois Wesleyan's Erica Woodall shared medalist honors with a 155. Woodall shot a 75 today for the tournament's low round. DePauw's Taylor Beaty shot a 160 and tied for sixth, while Erin Kielty and Kelly Gaughan each shot 162 to tie for 10th and Ali Rifkin finished 14th with a 163.
Playing as individuals for DePauw, Natalie Gough was fourth with a 159 followed by Meagan Hayes in 24th with a 174 and Sam Stahler in 25th with a 175.
DePauw returns to action on April 17-18 at the Illinois Wesleyan Spring Fling.
