#15 Tigers Drop Match to Seventh-ranked Gustavus Adolphus

March 5, 2011, St. Peter, Minn. — DePauw's 15th-ranked women's tennis team dropped to 2-3 on the season following a 6-3 loss to seventh-ranked Gustavus Adolphus College at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division III Indoor Championship.

DePauw's three wins came at numbers one, two and sixth singles. Janelle Arita defeated Sam Frank at the top spot by a 3-6, 6-1, 1-0 (11-9) score, while Kelly Gebert topped Megan Gaard at number two by a 6-4, 6-4 count. Elizabeth Young won at sixth singles over Megan Born 6-7 (7-9), 6-1, 1-0 (10-5).

The Tigers face 13th-ranked Chapman tonight at 7:30 p.m. CST.
