Ninth-ranked Tigers Move to 7-1 with over Hanover

Wilmington, Ohio - Ninth-ranked DePauw improved to 7-1 and advanced to the championship game of the Fred Raizk Memorial Tournament following a 72-38 victory over Hanover. The Tigers face host Wilmington College in the tournament's title game tomorrow at 3 p.m.
The Tigers built a 16-2 lead in the game's opening 11 minutes and held a 31-9 advantage at the break.
DePauw opened the second half with a 10-2 run to expand the lead to 41-11 and the margin reached as many as 38 points.
Kathleen Molloy and Emma Ondik each scored 12 and Ellie Pearson added a double-double of 10 points and a game-high 12 rebounds. Ondik's career-best 12 came on 4-of-4 shooting from three-point range. Ali Ross and Erin McGinnis each dished out four assists.
Katie Brewer paced the 5-2 Panthers with 11 points with Courtney Prater grabbing five rebounds.
The Tigers shot 58.3 percent from the field including 65.2 percent in the second half and nailed 9-of-12 from three-point range. Hanover connected on just 23.7 percent for the game and only 13.3 percent in the first half.
