Argetsinger, Zondor earn all-region honors

Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw juniors Amy Argetsinger (St. Louis, Mo.) and Sarah Zondor (Crown Point, Ind.) were selected to the D3hoops.com all-Great Lakes Region in voting by sports information directors. DePauw was the only Great Lakes school with two players chosen to the three teams. The complete teams are available here.

 

Argetsinger, the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Year, was second in scoring (14.6) and rebounding (6.3) for the conference champion Tigers. She shot 51.8 percent from the field for the season and currently ranks sixth in school history with 1,026 career points.

 

Zondor, a second team all-SCAC choice this season, led the Tigers in scoring with 15.8 points per contest and was third on the squad with 46 three-pointers and second with 39.7 percent shooting from three-point range. Zondor was the SCAC Tournament MVP after leading the Tigers to the league title.

 

DePauw finished with a school-record equaling 26 wins against just four losses before bowing out in the second round of the NCAA Championship.
