Tigers climb in both national polls

DSC_1346.jpgJanuary 24, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - The 17-1 DePauw women's basketball team, winners of 16 straight games, moved up five spots to fifth in the latest D3hoops.com Top 25 Poll and climbed three positions to sixth in the USA Today/ESPN Division III Coaches' Poll. The Tigers picked up one first place vote in the coaches' poll.

DePauw improved to 7-0 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference last weekend with a 76-47 win at Millsaps on Friday and an 88-60 victory at Oglethorpe on Sunday.

DePauw returns to action on Friday, January 27, when it hosts Southwestern at 6 p.m. The game can be heard live on WGRE and live stats are available here.
