DePauw's women earn tournament's only bye; host Maryville (Tenn.) on Saturday night

2006 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championship Bracket

March 1, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - The DePauw women's basketball team earned the only bye in the 63-team field of the NCAA Division III Championship and will open play in the second round on Saturday, March 4, at 7 p.m. against Maryville (Tenn.) College. The Fighting Scots defeated Oglethorpe by a 93-61 score this evening.

Tickets are $6 for adults, $3 for senior citizens, students and children. Children under two years of age will be admitted free of charge. The DePauw athletic department will cover the ticket costs for DePauw students. All tickets will be available at the door which opens at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
