NCAA Women's Basketball Championship Selections Announced Online at 3 p.m. Today

91237February 28, 2011, Greencastle, Ind. — The announcement of the 64-team NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championship field and bracket will be made via Web cast at 3 p.m. this afternoon at www.ncaa.com. 

DePauw's WGRE will also provide local coverage with its own selection show beginning at 3 p.m.

DePauw earned automatic qualification into the Division III tournament after winning the Southern Collegaite Athletic Conference championship with yesterday's 80-71 win over Hendrix.

The 25-3 Tigers are making their eighth straight NCAA appearance and 12th in the last 16 years. The Tigers have advanced to the national quarterfinals four times, to the semifinals twice and captured the 2007 Division III title.

Championship play opens with the first round on Friday, March 4. Complete details will be posted following the national announcement.
