Natalie Shaffer finished second in 23:03 to lead DePauw to a fourth-place finish at the Hanover College Pre-National Meet.

 

Robyn Burns of Franklin won in 22:58. DePauw's Libby Huffman was 18th in 24:37 followed by Lauren Hendrix in 26th at 24:41, Jenni Lee in 29th at 24:46 and Betsy App in 31st at 24:51.

 

DePauw finished with 104 points to finish behind Ithaca's 55, Emory's 56 and St. Olaf's 87.

 

The Tigers return to action on October 18 at the Wisconsin-Parkside Invitational.
