Tigers Climb Seven Spots in Final Regular Season Poll

November 19, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. - After last Saturday's third-place showing at the Great Lakes Regional, the Tigers jumped seven places to 18th in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's Division III Cross Country national poll.

DePauw totaled 142 points and is third in the Great Lakes Region. Middlebury took over the top spot with 278 points and six first-place votes, while Calvin is second with 273 points and the other two first-place votes.

The Tigers wrap up the season on Saturday, November 22, at the NCAA Division III Championships where they'll be making their fifth straight appearance.
