Molly McCue is entering her second season as the assistant field hockey coach at DePauw after a year-long stint at The Culver Academies.

Before arriving at DePauw, McCue was co-director of the Aquinas Academy field hockey camp where she was responsible for all aspects of the camp’s development, planning and communication with coaches (2011, 2012). In addition, she also coached at the Stick to Stick field hockey camp where she primarily worked with middle and high school aged students.

In her collegiate playing days at Denison University, McCue was a four-year starter at the forward position and led the team in scoring two of those seasons. She earned two second-team all-region selections (2008, 2009), a 2009 first-team all-north coast athletic conference (NCAC) honor, a 2008 honorable mention all-NCAC citation and a 2007 second-team all-NCAC nod.

While at Culver, McCue was a faculty intern in the Modern and Classical Languages department where she taught Latin and assisted in the AP economics classroom. Furthermore, she was an assistant varsity lacrosse and basketball coach and was the head coach for the junior-varsity basketball squad.

A 2010 graduate of Denison University, McCue majored in economics with minors in classics and geosciences. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in sport management from Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Ind.

While at Denison, McCue was a member of the Delta Gamma sorority, where she held the position of vice president for two years. Additionally, she was the field hockey team’s representative and the social events chair on the Denison Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
