Tigers open season with 1-0 win at Earlham

Richmond, Ind. - Becca Gaines scored the game's lone goal with 19:15 left in the first half to lift DePauw to a 1-0 win over host Earlham in each team's season opener.

 

The Tigers held a 12-3 advantage in shots and a 12-2 margin in penalty corners. Sara Shalowitz recorded three saves in goal for DePauw.

 

DePauw travels to Denison on Friday.
