Four Tigers earn all-Great Lakes honors

wiscomb04.jpgGREENCASTLE, Ind. - Four members of the DePauw field hockey team have been named to the 2004 STX/NFHCA Division III All-Great Lakes Region Team.

 

Sophomore Allison Baccich and junior defender Emily Wiscomb (pictured) were selected to the first team, while sophomore forward Becca Gaines and senior midfielder Christin Serenbetz earned second team honors.

 

Baccich led the Tigers with eight goals and added two assists for a team-high 18 points, while Wiscomb, a second team all-region choice last year, led the team with seven defensive saves and also added one goal for the season. Gaines, a first team all-region performer from last year, was second on the DePauw team with five goals and also had two assists. Serenbetz scored one goal on the season.

 

DePauw finished the year with a 10-8 overall record and a 5-1 mark in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference regular season play.
