Tigers sweep SCAC weekly honors

September 20, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - Two DePauw players earned Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors after a pair of conference wins over Rhodes and Sewanee.
For the second conseuctive week, Allison Baccich, a junior from Wilmette, Ill., has been selected the SCAC Field Hockey Offensive Player-of-the-Week.
Baccich scored the game-winning goal in overtime against Sewanee - a 2-1 victory for the Tigers. She also had an assist in Friday's 2-0 shutout of Rhodes.
For the season, Baccich is leading the league in goals scored (5 - tied), assists (3), points (13) and game-winning goals (2 - tied).
Catherine Joliat, a freshman defender from Troy, Mich., has been selected the SCAC Field Hockey Defensive Player-of-the-Week after spearheading a defense that allowed just one goal in the two SCAC wins. The Tigers held Rhodes without a shot in Friday's win.
The 4-1 Tigers host Bellarmine on Wednesday, September 21, at 4:30 p.m on McKeen Field.
