November 3, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw University's McKeen Field is the site for the 2005 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships, November 5-6. Updated tournament information will be posted here.
The semifinals begin on Saturday, November 5 when top-seed Rhodes (7-8, 4-2 SCAC) takes on fourth-seed Centre (9-8, 2-4 SCAC) at noon. The 2 p.m. semifinal game pits second-seed DePauw (10-6, 3-3) against third-seed Sewanee (8-7, 3-3).
Sunday's third-place game begins at noon and the title contest is slated to start at 2 p.m.
Rhodes won the inaugural championship in 2004 by defeating Sewanee, 1-0, in the title game.
