Lane named SCAC Coach of the Year; four Tigers earn all-SCAC honors

November 6, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - The 2005 All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Field Hockey Team was announced prior to today's conference championship game. Sixth-year DePauw head coach Carla Lane was named the SCAC Coach of the Year after leading the Tigers to the number-two seed in the conference championship. In all, 15 players were selected to the team including four DePauw players. Allison Baccich, Becca Gaines and Emily Wiscomb earned honors for the second time in as many years, while Meredith Ellis was selected to the team in her first season of collegiate play.2005 SCAC Women’s Offensive Player-of-the-Year
