Top-ranked Tigers win sixth tournament of year; Schneider earns medalist honors for the

Normal, Ill. - Number-one ranked DePauw won its sixth tournament of the year and top-ranked individual Jessica Schneider took medalist honors for the fourth time this season as the Tigers won the Illinois Wesleyan Spring Fling at the Ironwood Country Club. DePauw shot a 303 with Wisconsin-Eau Claire finishing second at 315.

 

Schneider shot a 71 to win by four strokes, while Sarah Gates and Lisa Chambers each shot 77 to tie for fifth. Lindsay Amore tied for ninth with a 78 followed by Deborah Garriott in a tie for 21st at 82 and Lauren Brummett in 38th with an 86.

 

The Tigers go after their third consecutive Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference championship on April 24-25.
