Top-ranked DePauw wins third straight SCAC title; all five golfers earn first team all-conference honors

Lake Lanier, Ga. - The top-ranked Tigers won their seventh tournament of the season as they captured their third straight Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference championship at the Pine Isle Resort.

 

DePauw shot an SCAC second-round record 323 for a two-round total of 644 to finish 26 strokes ahead of second-place Trinity.

 

All five Tigers earned first team all-conference honors led by Sarah Gates who was the medalist with a 157. Deborah Garriott was second with a 162, while Lisa Chambers was third at 163. Jessica Schneider and Lindsay Amore each tied for fourth with a 164.
