DePauw rallies to win fourth tournament of the fall

Normal, Ill. - DePauw shot a tournament-best 302 in the second round to total 613 and win the Illinois Wesleyan Fall Classic by one stroke over St. Mary's (Ind.) College at the Ironwood Country Club.

 

Sarah Gates took medalist honors for the second consecutive tournament after firing a 145 to win by three strokes. That included a 71 in the first round. Lindsay Amore tied for eighth with a 153 followed by Ali Murtaugh in a tie for 30th with a 161. Kristen Kriegshauser finished with a 162, Jill Schneider added a 169 and Amanda Bollman shot a 170.

 

The Tigers return to action at the Southern Indiana Invitational on September 25-26.
