May 10, 2005, Southern Pines, N.C. - The third-ranked DePauw women's golf team shot a 345 and is in eighth-place after the first of four rounds of the NCAA Division III Championships at the Mid Pines Golf Club.

Ali Murtaugh paced the Tigers with an 82, while Sarah Gates added an 86. Lisa Chambers followed with an 88 with Lindsay Amore shooting an 89 and Lauren Brummett rounding out the Tigers with a 90.

Second-round play begins on Wednesday and the tournament continues through Friday. Live scoring of the Championships is available here.
