Ninth-ranked Tigers Take First-Round Lead at Illinois Wesleyan

April 19, 2008, Normal, Ill. - Ninth-ranked DePauw shot an opening round 314 and leads the Illinois Wesleyan Spring Fling by seven strokes over the hosts at the Ironwood Golf Course.

Kristen Kreigshauser leads the Tigers with a 76 which is good for a third-place tie, while Ali Murtaugh is tied for sixth with a 78. Nicole Garza shot a 79 and is tied for 10th with Natalie Gough in a tie for 22nd with an 81. Erin Kielty is tied for 27th at 82.

Playing as individuals, Annie Mail fired an 77 and Megan Hayes shot an 84. Ohio Northern's Meagan Brennan leads with a 73.
