Ninth-ranked DePauw Finishes 11th at Ball State

September 20, 2009, Yorktown, Ind. — Ninth-ranked DePauw shot a final round 312 and finished with a 636 and in 11th place at Ball State's Cardinal Classic at the Player's Club. Eastern Michigan shot a 293 and finished first with a two-round total of 591 which was seven strokes ahead of Ball State.
Kelly Gaughan (pictured) finished in a tie for 19th after shooting a 152, while Erin Kielty was tied for 35th with a 156. Taylor Beaty finished with a 165 followed by Sam Stahler with a 170 and Camila Romero with a 171. Playing as an individual, Ali Rifkin shot a 174. Eastern Michigan's Emily Podzielinski was the medalist with a 141 including a 69 today.
The Tigers host the DePauw Small College Classic at Deer Creek Golf Course in Clayton on September 26-27.
