Sixth-ranked Tigers Hold Three Stroke Lead afrer First Round

April 17, 2010, Normal, Ill. — Sixth-ranked DePauw shot an opening round 316 and holds a three-stroke lead over William Woods at the Illinois Wesleyan Spring Fling at the Ironwood G.C.
Camila Romero and Taylor Beaty each shot a 74 to lead the field, while Erin Kielty followed with a 79 to tie for eighth. Natalie Gough shot an 89 and Kelly Gaughan finished with a 90. Playing as individuals, Ali Rifkin shot an 86 and Sam Stahler a 92.
Fourth-ranked Illinois Wesleyan is in third after shooting a 320, while Wisconsin-Whitewater is fourth at 331 and fifth-ranked St. Mary's (Ind.) is in fifth at 335.
The second and final round takes place on Sunday.
