Currens named SCAC Player of the Week

Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw freshman goalkeeper Abby Currens was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week after posting a double overtime shutout win of seventh-ranked Ohio Wesleyan in her first collegiate start.

 

Currens recorded 11 saves in 107 minutes of the 1-0 win over the Battlin' Bishops.

 

DePauw hosts Millsaps at 3 p.m. on Friday, September 24, in the season's first SCAC action.
