November 7, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - Sophomore back Jacki Ponder has been selected Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference co-Defensive Player of the Week for games played October 30 through November 5.
Ponder, who shared the honor with Katy Joyner of Rhodes, helped the DePauw defensive effort that recorded two shutouts against Hendrix and Austin.
She also contributed offensively, scoring a goal in each match, including the game-winner in Sunday's 2-0 victory over Austin.
